Welcome to the homepage of the Kapiti Coast Pipes & Drums Inc.
The band is supported by the Kath Sheehy Memorial Trust.
The Kapiti Coast Pipes & Drums Inc. was previously known as the Paraparaumu & Districts Highland Pipe Band Inc. The band was formed in March 1952 and has been an asset to the local community ever since.
The band can be seen at various local events, especially ANZAC Day Remembrance Parades! The band also competes at local Provincial Championships and the National Pipe Band Championships annually.
Members of the band are available for Corporate events, weddings and funerals. Enquiries to pipeband@kapitiscots.co.nz
The band rehearses every Wednesday evening throughout the year between 7.30pm and 9.00pm. Experienced or Learner pipers or drummers are welcome and encouraged. Enquiries can be sent to pipeband@kapitiscots.co.nz
